The instructors at Triple Play Baseball Academy will take a very progressive approach to teaching
the various baseball/softball skills. Our mission is to make our students the best players they can become
within their skill level. We will strive to make each player the "Best he or she can be".

Jim Humpal:
|
Pitching, Hitting, Fielding and Catching

Director of Training
|
As former Head of Baseball Coach at Brush High School, his teams won over 500 games, including
various league, sectional, district and regional championships. Three times he led the Arc's
to baseballs final four. Jim also coached Connie Mack and American Legion baseball teams, winning
71% of those games. He coached international baseball teams, winning several international and state
championships with his "North Coast, USA" and "Rawlings, USA" teams. His love for the game has been
rewarded by numerous coaching honors, as well as being inducted into two baseball halls of fame. Six
of his high school ballplayers signed professional contracts, three playing in the big leagues. Jim also
scouted for the Baltimore Orioles.

Jerry Chase:

Former Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach at both Cleveland Central Catholic and St.
Peter Chanel High Schools. Jerry had outstanding teams at both schools. In 18 years at Central Catholic
High School, he won six league championships. In 17 years, at Chanel High School his teams won
two North Coast League championships and several sectional and district championships. His teams advanced
to seven regional appearances, and were the state runner-up in the State Baseball Final Four.
Jerry ran trial camps for the Indians, Reds, and Marlins.

Lindsay Gervais:

Pitching, Fielding, Fast-Pitch Softball
|
|
Lindsay was an All-State softball pitcher/fielder at Colonel Crawford High School in Bucyrus, Ohio. She pitched for
the Final Four team in 1998 and State runner-up team in 1999. She pitched and played second base at Cleveland State
University for four years and was part of the Horizon League runner-up team in 2003.

Ross Gray:

Ross played his high school baseball at Brush High School. He also played baseball at Lakeland Community College
for two years. Ross became an assistant baseball coach at Lakeland Community College after his playing career was over.
Ross has coached at St. Ignatius high School for five years as well as Brush High School for five years. He is currently
coaching at Richmond Heights High School. Ross also coaches "Andy's Niners" Connie Mack Team.

Scott Krause:

Scott was an All-State selection from Eastlake North High School. He received a baseball scholarship to the University
of New Orleans, where he started for three years. He was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 1994. Scott played professionally in the Brewers
organization for over six years as an out fielder. He played with the Indians for one year, the Seattle Mariners for one year,
and is now playing the in the St. Louis Cardinal organization. Throughout his professional career he is a .249 hitter, and
has accumulated 1,00 hits.

Darrell Roehl:

Darrel has over twenty years of baseball coaching experience at all age levels. Most recently,
he brought his team to the Florida Senior Major State Championship three years in a row. Darrel brings
a broad of pitching and hitting knowledge, from both a coaching and player perspective. His philosophy
emphasizes a combination of fundamentals training and strength conditioning.

Marty Schreiber:

|
Marty was an All-State Left-handed pitcher/out fielder at Brush High School. He played his college baseball
at Cuyahoga Community College, becoming a Junior College All-American. Marty also played baseball at Cleveland
State University. He played professionally within the Atlanta Braves organization, throwing a no-hitter in his very
first professional start. He finished his professional career in the Houston Astro's organization. After his playing
career, Marty was an assistant baseball coach at Brush High School.

Tiffany Stocker:

Pitching, Fielding, Hitting and Fast-Pitch Softball
|
|
Tiffany was an All-State softball player in 1997, 1998. After high school, she earned an NCAA athletic scholarship
at Cleveland State University where she was CSU Defensive Player of the Year in 2002. She was the MCC/Horizon League stolen base leader in 2000,
2001. She was first team All-MCC/Horizon League in 1997,2001, and 2002. Tiffany ranks 12th in NCAA All_time stolen bases.
She holds the stolen base record, games played, at bats, hits, triples, and runs scored at CSU.

Aron Weston:

Hitting and Fielding
|
|
Aron was an All-State selection from Solon High School. He received a baseball scholarship to Georgia Tech, but
opted to sign a professional baseball contract with the Pittsburgh Pirates instead. He was drafted in the third round and
was rated the fourth best prospect in the Pirate organization. He was traded in August, 2002 to the Chicago Cubs.
Aron is currently playing class AA ball with the Cubs.

Dennis Woods:

Hitting and Fielding
|
|
Dennis played high school baseball at Cleveland South High, and college baseball at Miami of Ohio.
He has been the Varsity Baseball Coach at Glenville High School, Cleveland Heights High School, and is currently
the Head of Baseball Coach at Lake Catholic High School. Dennis has also coached at Cuyahoga Community College
and Case Western. While at Glenville his teams won two city titles, six league titles, was the State Runner-up
in the State Final Four. He has won one North Coast League championship during his tenure at Lake Catholic High School.
